This reminds me of my dad talking about my uncles old s10. He said it would pull way more than it should, but stopping that load was another story. :)

we once pulled a 9300# RV with a ‘93 2WD 4cyl Sonoma up a steep grade. mind you, it was less than a mile, but still impressive nonetheless

Love these old Chevy’s, not just cause they look amazing but also cause they’re tough as nails.
I think the early 70s models were far more attractive than the one in the video but you’re right they really were tough trucks.
