Watch A Biker Pull Over A Douchebag In A Toyota For Texting While Driving

After seemingly ignoring the biker tapping on her window, this Toyota driver continued to text behind the wheel, and damn near wiped the motorcyclist out in a dangerous overtaking manoeuvre

The rider - Eric Hanna - followed through with his promise to show this footage to police. However, according to CBC News, as well as the driver, Hanna himself could well face charges for this incident in Ottawa, Canada.
Sergeant Mark Gatien of Ottawa police said:

“I would caution people not to do this in the sense that he committed a couple of offences himself by splitting the lane going down the middle. I can’t prove it but he might have been speeding.”

He also called out Hanna for his decision to follow the driver for some time - something you can see in the full video - saying that it could have made her “unnervy.”

Illegal lane splitting (something which is legal in the UK and many parts of the world) and the the potentially unnecessary following aside, it looks like the lady in the Toyota FJ Cruiser deserved a talking to for her dangerous habits behind the wheel. Hopefully next time she’ll think twice before taking her phone out while driving…

He thinks he might have been speeding but can’t prove it?

I can’t prove it, but Sergeant Mark Gatien might smoke meth and be a pimp when he’s not at work.

By hearing the cops, it seems lane splitting is more dangerous than texting and driving… Smh

It’s not if done correctly.

That wasn’t lane splitting, that was lane filtering and it’s safer than being sandwiched between two cars. Also her phone wasn’t out when she made the overtake, so that was a d*ck move

Yo Matt Robinson -

“and damn near wiped the motorcyclist down in a dangerous overtaking maneuvre”

Think you meant something completely different and you spelled manoeuvre wrong ;)

Why would someone up vote this… hell, I down voted it myself so less people would see it.
