Mod a j30 plenum for the 300zx?
I saw someone using a j30 plenum instead of the stock z32 plenum, i was told it allows you to do all the sparkplugs without pulling the plenum, and allows a cleaner…. balance bar I believe its called?
Does anyone here know anything about it?

Probably allows you to pull the injectors easier rather than the spark plugs. I’ve never heard of this, but anything has to be better than the factory upper intake. It’s such a pain. Maybe someone else knows more about it than I do.
No clue. To my knowledge ive never seen any different intakes on a z except custom 1 offs. Now im curious
I dont see that much of a difference with the j30 plenum other than the balance routing sorta behind the engine which would prolly make accessing plugs for 5&6th cylinders easier. With new injector caps and grinding the plenum a bit u can make it so u can swap injectors without pulling the plenum i think but obviously much less need for tiny hands if u jus pull it off. Doing the bypasses on the plenum makes future pulls less painful
