2006 Mustang GT engine upgrades

I’m looking into doing a little engine modding to my 2006 Mustang GT. I already have the exterior upgrades I’m wanting to do so no need in those suggestions. I’m looking for some engine upgrades, just for overall performance and just to have an overall badass street car. I’m not wanting a strip car as this is my daily driver. My main concerns would be turbocharger or a supercharger? I also don’t have a problem with getting rid of the shaker system for a new hood if needed. (Yes it’s a real shaker)
Current set up:
Flow master exhaust
BBK Long tube
Steeda cold air intake
CDC Shaker system
I’ve an SCT tuner
There are some smaller things I’m probably forgetting, but I will continue to update the post. This is my first post here on the forum.
Thank you all for the suggestions! You’re helping me a ton!

Prochargers are great street and strip systems as they provide excellent power without being overkill. I’m looking into purchasing one for my mustang (it’s a V6 but it could surprise a few people with a Procharger)

Welcome!
I’d say go for a supercharger. That way you don’t have to mess with some of the mods you’ve already done like exhaust. Plus you can’t beat that killer whine :)

Had a 05 gt (much like yours). Had basic boltons etc. Started doing the math and gave up on it so got the gt500. Only problem with adding forced induction is that you will want more down the road, possibly leading into a headache money pit. The 3v is not necessary built for forced induction. I guess my question is…. How far and how much are you willing to spend? How savy are you with cars?

Agreed^ you’ll always want more and it’s not worth the money. Stick to the basics like injectors, tunes, and good ol weight reduction.

I’m not too smart when it comes to cars. I’m just kind of starting getting into the guts of them and such

Lol yes its a real shaker. I love getting asked if my “hoodscoop” is fake and then they see all the ducting and they’re like… “oh….”

People always seem to be surprised that it’s real haha.

I say just save up for a terminator or coyote car. All that money you would put into the 3v and it wont be making much power without some serious internal upgrades

Hey Wyatt I have a 08 mustang gt with flow master exhaust, k&n intake, bama 93 race tune and a airraid throttle body spacer and even though people say that it is a joke I promise you that you will love it! Plus you can install it yourself because it’s a very easy install. But what it does is it gives you a small torque gain ( I felt it in the 800-2500 rpm range for sure) but it also gives the car a VERY NICE induction sound it sounds EXACTLY like nitrous from a video game

M90 roots supercharger with roush ecu will get you 435whp and with the smaller pully 475whp.. Stock clutch, rear, fuel pump, injectors etc will all handle it fine..
