First mods for e36?

So I’m a highschool student and am looking for some first mods to do on my 1998 e36 328i. If you guys have any suggestions please let me know in the comments, or at least what you have done. Thanks.
P.S. If you suggest and exhaust please tell me which one and if you can find a video that would be very helpful thanks!

If your E36 is manual do the CDV delete. Much better feel of the clutch for $30. Also exhust systems all come down to personal preference, UUC, Supersprint, Eisemann, Corsa, and Rouge DMS are some of the better ones in my opinion

No problem! Also a short shifter would be a good addition too for $150-$200 from understeer.com and ZHP shift knob with that would feel perfect

Ey mate , depends on what u want to do first.
If you want looks, start with the wheels , something wide, at least in the back.I have 10j on the back and 8.5j in the front and i’m proud of it.(Artec L)
Get the M Pack , with Luxury grille in the front and also the Luxury side skirts, theyre awesome.
Since its white, get your headlights tinted, with the US style lights, will look mint.
Get some shorter springs, or even better Coilovers.
As for the exhaust , i did this:
I went and bought a Second Hand WV Passat steel final exhaust.I’ve cut it open, removed almost everything from it, cut off the tips, and welded some Remus Tips on it.the sound? AMAZING

First of all, nice ride. second of all, thank for the input, I have been looking at coilovers for a while so that’s already on the list and I am constantly looking for wheels being sold locally. I will look into the body kit you were talking about, as well as the headlights. Thanks man!

The springs and Coil overs, what kind? Thanks mate. Cheers.

  1. Wheels
  2. Coilovers and adjustable camber plates
  3. M Bumpers and Skirts
  4. Exhaust (I think the original sounds also great)

Simple…order all back grills. Looks better than the chrome in my opinion. Then grab some wheels….work from the bottom up. Brakes… suspension… All that fun stuff

Decent set of wheels, m-packet bumpers and then m3 suspension upgrades (my actual m3 rear suspiension feels a lot better than stock 316i one - i have m54b30 engine btw) for front there is a bilstein shock - good with stock spring from 328i. AND FIRST THING - Good set of tires for safety and sport

I’ve been looking at my front bumper vs. other e36’s front bumpers and mine looks rather wimpy compared to theirs. Is this because they have an m3 front bumper, or do I have a worse front bumper?

1.) refresh cooling system and wire an e-fan and get rid of the clutch fan
2.) lsd
3.)muffler delete
4.) bbs rz 469 (Style 5 from the 740i 16x8)
5.) vaders
6.) get used to the car (aka driver mod) then get coilovers
7.) your car is clean, keep its looks (look up cblock406 on instagram, you’ll be amazed on how clean and nice the stock e36 look is)
8.)angel eyes
9.)big brake kit- e46 330i front brakes and e46 325i rear brake kit (uuc sells slotted rotors for a really good price)
10.) plasti dip the grill black and then clear coat it
