I dont think the term hyper car has been around that long. Fast cars were just super cars. Maybe it started with the veyron which was a big step up in pace from the average supercar.

Hard to say - the term has only been around recently. Probably the “holy trinity”, unless you’re willing to apply the word to older cars, in which case I’d say McLaren F1 or Veyron.
