Photography and model cars: blending two hobbies into one

Encouraged by the toy-car-challenge that’s going on these days around here, I thought I might as well bug you some more with some other pictures of my modelcars. While I did start off by shooting in a diy studio at home, I soon realized that outdoor photography gives way for much more creativity in the whole process of snatching pictures of model cars. Which is why all of the cars below were shot in the ‘Great Outdoors’.

All of the pictures are mine (obviously) - but some are marked with a sort of signature I used to put on my pictures a few years ago.

Ferrari 430 Scuderia in the Greek sun

Quickest car of 1955: the Uhlenhaut Coupe

Fangio's favorite Corvette

SLR on steroids

Boxy blockbuster from Munich

Swiss lines in gloomy Austria

California's fortunate son

C3 avant-time

The star of the Bruce & Denny Show

Cologne-drenched Japanese racer

BMW's sole Daytona winner

I wrote the scale and brand underneath each picture. Now for prices it is more complicated but I’ll look around and come back with an informed answer.
