My bro and I went out and about with our MX5s today, lookin' fresh.
Here’s the full recap: Bro installed new coilovers and wanted to test them out, so we went for a drive in his NB, gave it a wash (spotted a Plymouth Barracuda), got lunch and then picked up my NA to take some pics. Then, went to a parts shop to get interior lighting for his NB. On the way back home, I noticed my oil pressure was a little low for my liking (about 2.75bar at 2500rpm, usually, it’ll be between 3 and 4 bar at that point). Pulled over and checked to oil levels, on temp it was exactly on the edge of low, so I drove home doing no more than 70km/h (2250rpm). A little sec after departing from the oil check, we came across a guy with an NBFL who followed us for a solid 20km home. Really, a good example of ending a high with a low, but not a bad day. Nico is still doing good, I heard no sounds that are similar to those of fatal oil starvation, so nothing to worry about yet.
