Volvo Has Broken The World Speed Record With This 2400bhp Truck
Volvo already held the truck land speed record but went all-out with the 'Iron Knight'
Spitting out 2400bhp and 4400lb ft of torque, the 13-litre diesel Volvo truck has smashed the truck land speed record, claiming the title once held by a similar hybrid Volvo named ‘Mean Green’.
Running over a 1000m track, the Iron Knight has to run in each direction and then take an average of times clocked for each run. Watch as the Swedish truck annihilates the novelty world record, showing what the Swedes are really made of!

Impressive! But I think it could have done a better time without wheelspin at the start…
Here we go with the keyboard experts…….do you know the bigger the turbos you have the more rev you need to put at the start? even with the wheels spin it’s better to start slower and wait for the turbos to spool up.
Trust me they know what they’re doing, they probably tried hundreds of times to get the best start off.

276 km/h! Are you kidding me??? That’s astronomical for a truck, it’s something you expect from one of those absurd 21 gear, 10,000 bhp mods for ETS2
I was about to say that, my 100k HP mod does the 0-100 in 4.5 sec, this truck : 4.6 sec.
