Try Not To Cry As You Watch This McLaren P1 Going Up In Flames
This P1 was filmed on fire in Colnbrook, Berkshire, and the footage is rather distressing...
This is definitely one of those lie down on the floor, try not to cry moments. We do see supercars go up in flames from time to time, but it’s not often something as rare as a McLaren P1 ablaze - just 375 of the things were made, after all.
The car was spotted on Poyle Road in Colnbrook, near Slough, at which point the flames had already spread to a significant portion of Ron’s finest. The damage must have been extensive by the time the emergency services arrived.
The cause of the fire looks to have been a fuel leak, with a wet patch - itself partially alight - seen leading up to the stricken P1 in the video.
Thankfully, the owner is thought to have escaped uninjured.

IKR? Just drives off and laughs rather than calling the emergency services or checking if the driver was OK. You should dial 999 if you see ANY car on fire (yes, even Prii).
It’s very sad that he’s laughing, people can be so toxic sometimes, jeaulousy is one of humanity evils.
You can only see a small portion of the situation. You have no way of knowing if he pulled up afterwards and called the fire brigade.
I don’t think he realised that he drove over the trail from the P1 making him and his van in a very bad place. You can even see part of the trail is on fire and he just does not care. 😂
