This Week's Grand Tour Episode Is The Road Trip We've Been Waiting For
TONIGHT: Jeremy Clarkson saves the world, Richard Hammond falls off a motorcycle many times, and James May gets wet. That’s right: the new Grand Tour trailer is out, and it’s a used car road trip special!
Actually it’s not tonight; it airs on Friday. This is the long-awaited road trip special we first saw in the original Series Two advert.
Series Two, episode 11 is called the Mozambique Special. The three stooges attempt to end world hunger by transporting fish from the east African nation’s rich and bountiful coast to the distant interior, where things aren’t so good and people live, as The Grand Tour YouTube page puts it, “on the brink of hunger.”
Naturally each of them chooses a different method of transportation. Clarkson uses a Nissan pick-up, Hammond chooses a brand new TVS Star motorbike and May goes retro with a wonderful old Mercedes 200T.
The episode will, as always, air on Friday on Amazon Prime Video. We’ll be there.
