This Touring Car Barrel-Rolled Into A Camera Tower At The Start Of A Race
Hunter Abbott’s BTCC Chevrolet was clipped into a barrel-roll at the start of the third Snetterton race and launched over the barrier, hitting a camera tower – fortunately the cameraman and drivers involved are OK
The scary shunt happened as drivers headed towards Turn 1 at the start of race three of the British Touring Car Championship round at Snetterton.
The camera tower fell to the ground when it was hit, but the cameraman and drivers involved were given the OK by medics at the track. The race was red flagged while numerous damaged cars were cleared from the track before getting back underway.

Race 3 afterwards with the restart was one of the best I’ve watched. GG, poor Abbott tho, he had a rubbish day.
