This Stunning GTA V Mod Looks Damn Near Photo Realistic
After having a quick read through the full list of features for this mod, you start to appreciate how extensive it is. We’re talking a completely re-done weather system including stunning sunsets and sunrises, radically overhauled and mostly replaced textures, and even re-jigged bloody spatter effects. Lovely.
Like the 4K ‘Pinnacle of V’ mod we looked at last year, Redux goes beyond just visuals, offering more lifelike weapon recoil, more realistic vehicle handling, re-configured population levels and a hell of a lot more.
The catch? As with all these other GTA V quality mods, you’ll need a fairly badass PC to run Redux. And if - like us - you don’t have a badass PC, you’ll have to just settle for watching these videos and checking out these mind-boggling pics…

I feel like the only things that were truly enhanced were the explosions and mist/smoke

No it’s not, that is a custom ENB that uses the previous version of that one mod, “The Pinnacle Of V” and some other stuff (water, etc.). Anyways, it has nothing to do with redux.
Finally, My PC will be put to good use!

The thing that bothers me about video game graphics is that everything seems to shine too much and/or lighting effects are way over the top. Battlefield games are a good example, that orange lens flare that’s everywhere and makes kids drool is horrible.
