This Mad 800whp Porsche 911 GT2 Has Inboard Suspension

This episode of The Hoonigans' Build Biology takes a closer look at a 996-generation 911 GT2 with a difference

Think the 690bhp output of the current Porsche 911 GT2 RS is impressive? It’s nothing compared to this extensively modified 996 GT2, which puts out around 800bhp at the wheels.

Its flat-six has been given new turbochargers from Tial, a custom exhaust system, new injectors, uprated intercoolers and much more besides. But the engine isn’t the standout feature of this car. Nope, that’d be the rear suspension.

BBI Autosport of Huntington Beach, California has created an incredible inboard suspension system that’s littered with bespoke parts including a gorgeous ‘bladed’ anti-roll bar. The dampers themselves are adjustable ones from Öhlins. The idea was to make looking through the rear windscreen a little like looking at the inner workings of an expensive watch, something which BBI has achieved, we reckon.

The car looks mostly stock from the outside, but take a peak inside, and this is what you'll see...

It’s one of the finest 996s we’ve ever seen, and it’s great to see it meticulously detailed in this episode of Build Biology.

Don’t let this distract you from the fact that CT is dying and the staff knows it.

No no. The website is dead. The facebook page and the youtube community is still very much alive.

I’m surprised CT are now creating content based off of other people’s content considering their strict laws on this app about creating your own original stuff🤔

You can use another person’s conent, as long as the original creator is mentioned, and isn’t 100% copied, however, 100% copying someone’s content is allowed if it has been posted elsewhere (9gag, 4chan, deviantart, etc.). That is my understanding of the copying rules.

It’s fair use, writing articles about something compared to let’s say me just straight up copying and reposting somebody’s meme or post with no credit

Welcome to the sad world of CarThrottle, this place sucks lmao
I see you’ve already got a taste of the community, they’ve treating you like a god just because of your gender, acting like they’ve never seen someone of the opposite sex before
Ps. got my old account banned last week for sarcasm and irony

Why are there 34 comments about the “dying carthrottle”, and none about the magnificense of that suspension? Its just like a Formula Student one, even with the bladed arb’s. Soo awesome, soo many choices in geometry.

People are saying that CT is dying, and I’m just here drooling over the suspension.

Me saying that is probably contributing to CT’s decline.
