Top Gear has been causing controversy in Argentina, after locals claimed the number plate on Jeremy Clarkson’s Porsche 928 made a reference to the Falklands War.

The above video was submitted to us by CT reader Ramiro, and it apparently shows the moment the TG crew attempted to escape angry protesters.

The above image was shared by Fran, and the accompanying story on Resumen Policial indicates that the TG crew attempted to flee under police escort when they were attacked by protesters. Stones were thrown, and a Top Gear crew member was injured. The show cars, as well as police cars, took damage during the demonstration.
