W Motors Lykan Hypersport

We've been really hoping that the crazy Lykan HyperSport by Lebanese manufacturer W Motors actually gets made, and doesn't become another supercar start-up failure. This video shows that maybe the Lykan is more than just an automotive pipe dream.

Not long after revealing plans for a performance-based version of the Lykan - the SuperSport - W Motors has released this video of the HyperSport in action at Dubai Autodrome. It appears to be driven relatively sedately however, and doesn't sound like it's at full throttle at any point in the video. This makes us sad.

The HyperSport is powered by an RUF-sourced 3.7-litre twin-turbo boxer 6, which kicks out 740bhp. This will shoot the car from 0-60mph in just 2.8 seconds, on to a top speed of 245mph.
