I agree it’s getting ridiculous is was funny a while ago but now it’s just annoying, unfunny, and unoriginal, and the fact that the CT staff are still making these jokes is a disgrace.

Couldn’t agree more, the Mustang trend is over, the actual joke died weeks ago and now they’re just annoying af. If I see people posting Mustang related memes I will not spare my words. I don’t even like modern muscle cars that much, classics are nice though
Well everyone was jumping on the Honda VTEC hate bandwagon, and now it’s Mustangs and a bunch of people are upset, it’s not how it works.

Because there is truth to the Honda memes… But I DEFINITELY still express myself when somebody hates on them because I just don’t like to see too much negativity, true or untrue.
We’ve done a good job slowing the Honda hate memes, lets do that for the Mustang, and lets do it for whatever hate bandwagon comes next.

People complaining about mustang jokes being overused but these exact people make jokes about vtec, bmw not indicating and vw emissions
It’s not that they are overused, it’s that they are untrue… The cars do NOT crash any more or less than any other car, same story for the drivers. This is a fallacy, and that is the difference, jokes based on a fallacy are indeed disenfranchising and as car guys we should prevent that NO MATTER WHAT IT IS, Mustang or otherwise. That being said..
BMW drivers regularly do not use their blinkers noticeably more than others, therefore it is a true statement.
Audi drivers do regularly tailgate more than others therefore it is a true statement
VTEC does NOT make the car faster yet fanboys suggest it’s akin to a turbo therefore calling them out makes it a true statement.
and obviously VW got caught for emissions so that is definitely true.
And as far as I can tell, all three of those have died off, at least mostly.
