I always have the sneaking suspicion that he deliberately buys lemon cars so he can make videos complaining about how they’re lemons.

Well he usually buys 2nd hand performance/luxury cars on a tight budget, I’m pretty sure all of his choices are going to end up as lemons. Except for perhaps the Skyline he had.
well its kinda smart on cost budgeting, if you can get a car for 20k or 30k less then what the best 2nd hand ones are going for and pay 3800 if anything goes wrong you save a lot of money.
