With a huge jump in power compared to its predecessor and a vast array of other improvements, it’s perhaps no surprise that the 660bhp 488 is able to lay down a stonking ‘Ring time.

Sit back and enjoy the show…

Couldn’t help noticing 2 things.
1 - all the faces he makes, specially while braking or curving, from duck face to a smile he does them all
2 - the right knee hitting on the air conditioning commands, i’m pretty sure his knee is hurt after that lap

it looks like he’s about to bust a nut at every corner

Nissan GT-R Nismo is still faster, that car has 100 hp less, weighs at least 300 Kg more… I wonder how fast the new Ford GT will be ^^

Also the Nissan GTR Nismois down on ~60hp not 100hp and as mentioned the GTR is AWD vs RWD on the 488 GTB

Keep the traction? Maybe to stop the engine hitting the rev limiter and backing the power off? That said you might be comparing it to the 458, this does rev lower so you have to shift earlier, so it might sound like he’s shifting earlier but really he’s close to the limiter.

So it’s still not as fast as an LFA with Nürburgring Package?

Can’t wait for 3000hp self driving electric hypercars to do The Ring in under 4 minutes…..Average speed of 195mph seems possible eventually…..

this is yhe only good position for extreme fast driving. all WRC drivers drive in this positions. LeMan and everywhere else. Nobody said it’s comfortable but only in this position you have 100% control over the car
