This 1233bhp Golf Mk2 Is An Absolutely Mad Little Sleeper

From the outside you would never know that this standard looking Golf packs an unbelievable 1233bhp and is capable of 8 second quarter-mile times. To produce that power takes incredible engineering and we love the results

I could only imagine what being a passenger feels like. Probably ecstasy.

It’s done by “ https://www.facebook.com/BobaMotoring“ or Search for “Boba Motoring” a company from germany.
They’ve also done a Golf MK1 GTI with 1100PS+ and a Mitsubishi Colt with 1000PS+…. You can find them all on their Facebook page ;)

i swear you could harm yourself if your arm was near the BOV when the 4,4 bar of boost releases xD

I’m waiting for the butthurt muscle fangirls to come with the no replacement for displacement idiotism. So a Corvette 6 liter engine should be 3699HP

yep … a 6 litter with 43psi will hit way more than 1200hp. And this car runs on ethanol. Ethanol powered V8 dragster hit 7000 hp. The reason there are no such tuned V8 cars is because it becames too extreme and you can’t drive it for reasons like traction and body rigidity … and of course strong enough drivetrain. You will have to toe and push it.On the other hand, a 6 litter engine can hit 1233 hp with less boost, making it more practical for everyday use. But who the ….. drives a car with over 1k hp on a public road, its pointless. Yes it’s fun but how long its gonna take until you kill yourself. And if you dont use the whole power (rev the engine), then whats the point of having it.With the invention of forced induction its not only about the displacement, its about the amount of air you can get through the engine. The more air goes in and off the more power its gonna make. In fact you can produce this kind of power out of 1 litter, but the problem is how strong the components will have to be to take the huge pressure and temps?

It’s instantly not a sleeper when there’s a “BOBA” plate on it

true but i think if ur making that kind of power some things become a necessary evil. Besides what’s to stop a regular golf from looking like that?
