The Gigantic Mercedes-Maybach 6 Concept Has Been Leaked

The new gull-winged Mercedes-Maybach concept car has been leaked a day ahead of its launch at Pebble Beach for the Monterrey Car Week. Named the Maybach 6 - due to its colossal six-metre length - this concept car continues Maybach’s reputation for money-no-object luxury with a futuristic bespoke design.

After press shots revealed a long, smooth silhouette and a small surprise in the presence of gull-wing doors, the CEOs of businesses around the world will have been rubbing their bejeweled hands in anticipation of adding the luxury leviathan to their fleet.

With a curved, enclosing interior that looks full of state-of-the-art tech and design, the Maybach 6 is lacking a transmission tunnel which could indicate a move towards an electric powertrain for the Mercedes subsidiary.

All of the specs and images of the car will be released some time tomorrow, so look out for what should be an interesting take on the luxury car sector.

Keep up with Car Throttle at Monterrey this week through Instagram and Snapchat, as well as a Facebook live stream from Car Week itself.

Talk about the rear visibility… Its almost non existent… This is what I hate about concept cars.. The production one is not going to look like this at all.. Why do they have to show these futuristic interiors when they know its impossible to make it production ready… The rear doesnt go well with my tastes… The front looks much better..

Thats why its a concept, not a production car.

A concept car exists to show new design languages and “concepts”, practicality is thrown out of the window and for good cause

Small chance for V18 as it says in article “lacking a transmission tunnel which could indicate a move towards an electric powertrain”

The Dakov

This is the kind of optimistic excess concept cars in the 50s and 60s carried. What a piece of art! Also, it looks far more legitimate and tightly screwed together than the Exelero. Can’t wait to see where Mercedes is going!

The seats aren’t even adjustable! They don’t look very comfortable either, especially since you’re probably 5ft away from the steering wheel.

The steering wheel and pedals may be adjustable

It’s still only a concept car therefore most of the design is gonna change once the real deal comes out so the seats are gonna look completely different
