Following on from the mysterious trailer and first details confirmed about Dirt 4 in January, Codemasters has now dropped the first gameplay trailer.

It looks incredibly fun, frantic and action-packed, that’s for sure. It shows off the breadth of racing that gamers will get the chance to try – including Rallycross, buggy racing and Stadium Super Trucks.

The initial launch confirmed it will be released this June for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, but now we know the day it will come out – the 9 June.

Are you excited for Dirt 4? We’re certainly getting hyped up for it after seeing the trailer.

Being as he’s dead, the license they had to his name would’ve run out, and I’d assume his estate/next of kin haven’t allowed them to use his name. Either that or they haven’t bothered enquiring.

It would fit even better, as the rewind feature really encourages some McRae style driving.

I love that during the crash the hands never left the wheel.

I used to love the buggies in the old games so throw in the learnings they’ve made through dirt rally and this is the most exciting game of the year by far!

Have you ever played forza and you play it for a long time, but then you start playing dirt 3 and the steering is so touchy and hard to get used to

Right now, I’m sceptical about. I was looking forward to Grid 2 too, and it turned out garbage. Won’t preorder it, that’s damn sure.

As an an American fond of ovals, I hope they throw in sprint cars and dirt late models.

The games made in England, so I doubt it, although Toca 3 which was also made by codies had sprint cars so its not impossible
