The Biker Who Rode For His Life Has Just Uploaded This Shocking 'How It Started' Video
Yesterday, we showed you shocking footage of a biker who had to ride for his life after a bald-headed car driver was quite clearly intent on running him off the road and doing him some damage. This being the internet, people assumed that the biker must have done something to provoke the man (just take a look at the YouTube comments), but it turns out that the car driver was simply a short-tempered douchebag who was having a seriously bad day.
As you can see in the video, the biker pulls in front of the car at a set of traffic lights (this is legal in many areas, but not all). Clearly not happy with the biker’s decision to do so, the driver pulls away from the lights hard, giving little room to the man on two wheels. The biker then races off down the road (at well over 100mph), and when the pair meet again at the next intersection, that’s where the aggression really kicks off. The man on the bike gives the driver the finger, the driver vomits some bad words and then, which is the real turning point, the biker smacks the guy’s mirror. That’s where things turn nasty and is the result of the shocking footage you watched last night:
So in conclusion: The driver is the main party at fault, but the biker did himself no favours in hitting the man’s car. Sometimes (actually always), it’s better to avoid confrontation and simply ride to the nearest cop shop. After all, this biker had all the footage he needed to ensure that the driver got what he deserved. What do you guys make of these events in light of this newly-released footage?

What I’ve learned from about 15 years of driving is that never lose your temper at someone and it’s best to ignore provocative idiots.

Totally agree. Doing away with road rage even in the face of provocation was the best thing I ever did for my driving. There is no point. No one wins. Everyone goes home in a crap mood and if you’re going to go around giving people the finger and hitting their cars it doesn’t matter how in the right you are somethings going to kick off eventually and someones going to get hurt or somethings going to get damaged. You need to get your zen head on, let idiots be idiots and look after your own.

Don’t be a twonk, it’s pretty easy. All he had to do was not get involved. He got involved.
He could have pulled out at any point, got off the road at any point.

How can you, after seeing this video, say the driver is the one to blame?! Biker overtook him on the lights, he could have just stood next to him or even better, behind him given the fact there were just 2 cars on the junction - no traffic, no reason to overtake… then again, after the green light showed up and he was overtaken back, he could have just ignored it and drive safely whenever he wanted to but NO, his ego stepped in… It’s the bikers fault clearly…

Okay okay… You are…. kiiinda right. Did the biker do something wrong, YES. level of wrongness = 7? Maybe… but the driver’s level of wrongness is way over 10. Way too overboard.

The driver was a d!ck there’s no argument there, but too many bikers think the mirror slap is acceptable, what do you expect to happen when you hit a car with your fist?
If the biker had of waited when the driver cut across the two lanes, there would not have been a need for a “running for his life”
It’s just his excuse to make his seriously excessive speeding reasonable.

He probably thought it was an undercover cop. In America we use chargers for police cars.
He’s looking for a police officer.. Here in ‘Murica, we have unmarked police units, and that body style charger was a popular cruiser and unmarked vehicle option for local departments as well as some states departments.

He could’ve easily lost that guy if he knew how to ride.
He has an R6. The R6’s power really turns on after 10k RPM, which the rider is actively trying to keep under. If he wanted, he’d be gone before the fusion guy had a chance to say “bye”
