The Action-Packed Need For Speed Payback Launch Trailer Is Here

With the game set to release on 10 November a final trailer has been released

Need For Speed Payback doesn’t officially hit the shelves for PC, PS4 and Xbox One until 10 November. But if you’re an EA Access or Origin Access member, you can actually get your hands on the game now and enjoy a 10-hour trial.

It’s looking like it’ll be one of the best instalments in the long-running franchise for years, too. With a Fast and Furious/GTA-style storyline, multiple racing disciplines and a seriously in-depth customisation system (all showcased in this trailer), it could turn out to be a real hit.

With all the EA DLC’s, I would like a little payback myself.

After playing the disappointment that was NFS 2015, I definitely don’t think I’ll be buying this.

I’ve played the trial, they managed to make the customisation worse and the game as a whole is so very boring with a painfully uninteresting story and just as bad physics/handling.
Just play horizon 3, its a far superior free roam racer.

I miss when need for speed was all about cars and being the best driver in the city… not heists…. “blockbuster action racer” who in the hell wanted that?

Pretty much nobody.

I did
Need for Speed is still about being the best driver in the city, only thing is now it has some blockbuster action scenes added up to the mix. If you actually played Payback you’d know that

It has a Viper. I’m giving this game a 10/10 rating. Good job Ghost.

Honestly if the physics and gameplay are anything close to nfs 2015 I think I’m gonna have to pass on this one

…and it’s not, I tried the game. It’s much much better. There is still that bias towards drifting, but you can actually win with a full grip build. Grip cars don’t understeer like hell anymore and drifting without brake to drift is a lot of fun

There’s a lot of gameplay videos on YT this week. It’s more like burnout paradise with licensed cars and customization. The physics is still far too childish and the AI cops are useless. Very easy to lose them regardless of stars
