If you’re the sort of person for whom a normal Aston is just a little common, the company’s Q division has announced a couple of DB11s that might tickle your fancy.

First on the list is a Volante soft-top built to honour the Gaydon-based brand’s partnership with the terribly English Henley Royal Regatta, where wealthy boating types gather to admire each other’s decks. The event starts today, hence the timing, and this very car is on display there.

Painted in White Stone, which has a hint of grey-blue like a white boat hull reflecting a bright blue ocean, it features a contrasting Red Oxide Caithness leather interior against pale blue piping and matching hand-painted accents on carbonfibre trim inserts. Among the details are pale blue oar-style motifs and a special plaque identifying this one-off spec.

The Henley Regatta DB11 Volante is priced at £199,995, leaving you £5 change from your cash pot to put towards a Pimm’s at the event itself.

If that’s not quite what you’re looking for, the Q division has also produced this gorgeous dark green DB11, created to celebrate luxury lifestyle title Classic Driver’s 20th anniversary. Q worked with the magazine’s lead designer and laid out a green and grey design, following the title’s colour theme.

The glossy dark grey paint features pearlescent flakes that add a flash of green under bright light. A carbonfibre body kit is finished in a bespoke green lacquer and the colour scheme continues to the interior. The leather seats, dashboard and steering wheel are bedecked in Eifel Green with the Classic Driver Logo embroidered into the headrests.

A maximum of 20 will be built, and it can be ordered in either coupe or Volante convertible body styles. All will feature special Classic Driver sill plates and matching hand-made enamel front wing badges. The price is £199,275 for the coupe with the Volante’s unspecified, but adding another five figures.

Hey, Aston, if you’re happy to honour media outlet anniversaries, CT turns 10 next year. We’d love to see a white DB11 with orange and black detailing, and we’d love it even more if we could use it for the year. Just saying.
