My #tougecarchallenge entry

Honestly at this point i don’t care very much since I’ve I’ve tried to do this post seven. times.

The Car

Anyway, I started my search with a Honda Civic Type R, moved on to an Integra because I didn’t want a hatchback, then out-ruled FWD completely [insert something to point out the irony of my refusing to use a Honda]

Then I picked up a Subaru WRX STI Hawkeye and in fact was done until I realized I could have used something much more suited to the touge

The Toyota GT86 is, on paper, perfect for the touge. It’s light, nimble, and it’s endless aftermarket will have you satisfied for anything.

The Mods

HKS Hipermax IV SP Coilovers
Whiteline sway bars
EBC stage 5 super street slotted brake kit
EBC redstuff ceramic brake pads
South Bend Clutch stage 4 clutch kit
Bridgestone potenza S-04 pole position
Motegi racing MR131
Invidia titanium exhaust system
K&N Typhoon series cold air intake

Visuals

Spec-D U-bar Projector LED Headlights
Spyder red fiberoptic LED tail lights
APR Performance aerodynamics kit
APR Performance GTC-200 rear wing
Carbon Creations 86-R style carbon fiber hood
I would keep it white with Gunmetal gray details like the spoiler and mirrors as it matches the CF hood and aero

I even did some (slight irrelevant) testing in FH3 and quite liked the car even without very many good twisty roads.

Anyway, that was my touge car, hope you (didn’t) enjoy it!
