My Opel Manta b 1978 C20XE
Found it in a garage some months ago and the car was all dusty so you couldnt quite see the color. Manta b is one of my dreamcars so i was quite shocked 😂 I talked to the old lady in the house and she asked me if i wanted to buy it and i said maybe. It wasnt her car but it was her sons car.
Some weeks came by and me, dad and my brother who is an mechanic went to look at the car and then in the end we made a deal with the owner.
The car has been swapped to an C20XE engine (2.0 16v) from an Kadett GSI and the engine was in pretty good shape. The car had not been on the road since 1995 but the owner had it running for a little over 15 years ago.

Sorry for late reply hehe. It is good for rust. some at the back of the bumper and a little bit under but rust that i can easily remove

Forgot i posted here. Been doing a bit lately. Changed brakes to 2.2 from Opel Rekord and changed brake lines in front and bled the brakes. The engine is running but not running on all cylinders. the third one is the bad one. Maybe its just bad connection with the spark plug wire. I have checked the distributor and rotor. Looked fine.
Changed fuel filter and tightened the exhaust more. Changed cooling system pipes and hose and the cooling system is fine.
