Toyota Crown Majesta

Forming a sub-division in the Toyota range where there shouldn’t really be one (between mid-size and full-size), the Crown Majesta was always going to struggle to make a name for itself. However, that doesn’t mean that it wasn’t any good. It got a 4.0 litre 1UZ V8, for one thing, and was offered with both AWD and 4-wheel steer, which is certainly unusual for a Toyota or the time.
