Ford Corcel GT

Europe had the Escort; South America had the Corcel.

With sales beginning in 1968, just like the Escort, the Corcel only lasted for two generations before Ford in South America decided they couldn’t be bothered any more. But it’s the first generation that looks the best, and it was the only one that got a coupé version. The GT had a massive power output of 80 horsepower, but in a car that weighed less than 1000 kilograms this was no real problem.
