11-year-old Gonzalo Basurto kart driver passed away in an accident at the Fernando Alonso Circuit

The event took place on Saturday afternoon, the young driver collided with another teammate to take a turn. The vehicle overturned and fell on him. Immediately it was attended in the own track by a medical team. There, had to be resuscitated twice for cardiorespiratory arrest. He was evacuated in an ambulance to the Central University Hospital of Asturias, in Oviedo, where he died this morning.

Definitely one of the worst weeks for the Motorsport, after the tragic accident of Billy Monger the last week, who luckily survive. This time, even worst news, since Gonzalo Basurto couldn’t survive.
