I’ve always liked them, well the older ones at least. A modern Astra for example is a bit boring though
Ok, i Will explain this one in the blog
Generally, Vauxhall/Opel went on a looooooong spree of making boring grey cars for boring grey people. Think of the 80’s-early 2010’s era, a whole 30 years of crap car after crap car.
However the recent new versions actually look rather good.
OHH im going to talk a Lot about your comment in the blog
What about the Calibra? That was a good car in a sea of beige boxes.
L-Lotus Carlton/Omega? Opel Manta? T-They’re crap too?
Well, they make boring cars nie, with few exceptions
Oh, imma make a wall of text in the blog fo your comment :)

my dad has a 1999 Opel Vectra 2.0 which already got a new gasket, half the engine refurbished and has an exhaust leak, speedo doesnt work, odometer doesnt work, abs module is broken so that means tc also doesnt work and it doesnt idle very well
A Will explain a Lot of it in the blog. Ur dad got bad luck, we Also had one, no issues whatsoever
I like them, for example the Manta i absolutely love it!
Nice :D
Nobody really hates them, its just that this site is brittish and most people in it too.
In the UK the cars are asociated mostly with old people and dumb young show-off kids, hence the ‘hate’ while it’s really more of a ‘I-dont-hate-it-but-i-wouldnt-choose-it’ type of view on them.
I personally really like them. But only the rear wheel drive models.
…and the RWD models are based from Holdens/Chevys
Well Vectras, calibras, Kadett and Astra gsi are amazing they can easly beat any vr6 car
