What are the alternatives to wheel spacers when I want to widen the track/extend my wheels out to fit a wider body as I heard wheel spacers destroy wheel bearings?

Get different rims with the offset you desire.

Is that viable on a rally car?

The proper way is to get an extended axle.

Spacers are fine as long as you don’t go crazy and that you pay the price.
Rims with more offset (with the same rim width) will do the exact same thing.
Don’t worry about the bearings, if you don’t go crazy and stack two 30mm spacers you’re fine.

Ahh Ok thanks :) What effect would that have on handling though? I’m planning on doing rally and i just wanted to know how to extend the wheels to widen the track

Extend the wish bones, but this means everything needs moved out aswell.
My ford racing puma has spacers built into the alloys and 30mm wider track(factory car) they just wish bone, moved ether side out 15mm then welded and put in a plate to give it strength.
Left is normal puma, rights racing puma. 16 years on, still on original wish bones and welds are fine👍🏻
