Custom Gated Shifter
How reliable is a gated shifter? It looks amazing and thinking about making one for a VW Golf MK V but first I need to know if there are advantages / disadvantages when being used on daily basis and if you know someone / a website that sells these as kits would appreciate it

Man, it looks great, my only concern would be stuff falling inside
I thought about that and I can handle keeping it clean but it is an excellent point.. It is one of the reasons this shifter died
