Miata Louvers Concept

Recently I saw a car with louvers and it made me wonder if anyone has ever put some on a miata hardtop. I searched a bit and didn’t really find anything except some nasty thing by KG Works. I decided to mock up something in 3d this morning and this is what I came up with. What do you guys think? (The base model is not mine. I only added the louvers.) I think it might need a few more rows.

I’d buy em

You could 3d print them. You already have it in blender. Print out each piece and put them together. Then you can make a mold and mass produce!

That’d be a lot of printing but it’d work!

I personally don’t really fancy the angles, I think it should be a smoother line that follows the curve of the glass, also,you should think of a way to close them up
