How do can heel toe downshift in a mk1 Audi TT. Brake pedal is higher than gas pedal so you can't really do both unless you press brake all the way down

The only way to do it is brake first then rev match

It’s hard to do it if your not pressing the break down over like 70%, just break hard when you downshift and it’ll be smoother, at least the passenger won’t have a nose bleed lol

Truth is: you can’t really. I have tried to train it, but the padels are, as you already mentioned it, positioned awkwardly, at least for heel and toe practising.

I’ve been trying this, manage to kind of roll the foot rather than heel toe. Braking with the edge of the pedal right on the ball of the foot, then roll onto the little toe for tje accelerator.
