Middle lane hogging is now illegal, yet people still do it, completely oblivious to their surroundings. Here's how bad the issue really is...

So true, i came home one night on the motorway and I could’ve undertook 80% of the cars sat in the middle lane. They are a total meanace.!!!
Same. 99.9% of the time under the speed limit too as they just plod along

I have no words for middle lane hogs other than every insulting word under the sun I scream at them when I definitely don’t get road rage… 🙄
You never see lane hoggers in Germany, maybe drivers over there are better. But the main reason is drivers know someone in an M5 or and R8 is going to be doing 100+mph in the overtaking lane, so they get out the way.
Yes but let’s be fair German’s standard of driver education is possibly the best in the world (from an outside perspective anyway) and driver education is the biggest issue causing problems like this

They don’t enforce lane laws in the US so why would anyone care? That’s why we have the problem. No one gets taught it either.
Hey, it worked fine for trians
In Australia, it’s everyday normal to see this driving behaviour on the road (At least in Melbourne). Most of the drivers just refuse to sit in the left lane. Even at 1 am in the morning where there’s basically no cars on the road, you will see some cars just constantly stay in the right lane and some wouldn’t even bother to move.
True this. Then they get sh*tty when you flash your lights
Not only that but trucks sit I the outside lane for k after k. No one can pass the an they can pass no one. And people wonder why there’s congestion in Melbourne!
Meanwhile where I live, nobody gives a sh*t if the term lane-hogging actually exists. They don’t really care about rules at all really.
It’s worse in America, plus if you pass a cop at any speed you’ll be pulled over and shot on site.

We considering cops always go way over the speed limit its safer not to pass them.
And don’t even think about surrendering with your hands up…..they’ll shoot you even more
we passed a cop doing the speed limit in a White Camaro SS with red stripes and never got pulled over, about 2 mins before that though we were doing 200KPH.
Agreed, although undertaking is legal here, at least. I’ve passed a load of cops before and not been shot… yet. Granted, nobody gives a rat’s ass what you do on the DC beltway during rush traffic as long as you stay under 80 and out of the HOV lanes if you’re alone.
