Forza Motorsport 7 - Not happy with the Porsche handling on Nordschleife

So I’ve bought FM7 recently and overall I’ve been very pleased with the game. There are some cars that sound a bit off, but I knew I’d get use to it, it’s not that much of a problem. What really disappointed me recently was when I drove the Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 on the Nordschleife. The first 30 seconds was fun, but after that my completely stock Porsche decided it wanted to do wheelies every time I exit a high speed corner. At first I thought the car was just bouncing because of a stiff suspension, but this was not the case, whenever you accelerate out of a high speed corner, BOTH front wheels will lift of the ground and leave you with no steering for about a second, when the wheels make contact with the road again, the car will become really unbalanced and you will most likely crash. I believe this is the result of the weight shifting, but why are the aerodynamics not causing any downforce in the front? I have seen videos of this happening to Le Mans cars, but this is a road going Porsche, which already lapped the Nordschleife in 7m 27sec in real life, so this is unlikely to happen right?

I’ve read forums and noticed that other people also experience this problem, their solution is to tune the suspension, but what if you are like me and enjoy to test the capabilities of a stock sports car? Then it can only be solved by the developers I suppose… It’s a shame though, this game can be nearly flawless if they sort this out.

On a positive note, there are some great cars featured in the game, and most of the cars handle very nicely, I don’t think there is a racing game which I would enjoy more than FM7.

Porsche 911 always sucked in handling forza. They drove terrible stock. Also want add, they messed up the gt3rs 4.0 with forza front splitter whicj you cant remove. Looks super stupid and keeps me from driving this car

It only seems to handle like this in Motorsport, in Horizon 3 it feels like i’d expect it.. But Horizon is more aracade like though..

Is this you driving it? Because they’re extremely good. I’da just figured it’s the weight distribution that causes most of that. Aero can only do so much on a street vehicle. If I was you I’d just try use a different technique while driving. Stuff like using more weight transfer for wheel lifting.

I would say though that if you’re a good enough driver, this could probably make you even faster.

It is me driving, but in al honesty the Porsche is very easy to drive fast around corners, besides the front lifting of course… I’ve noticed that it helps a bit if you work smoothly with the throttle inputs, but working smoothly on a controller is not that easy 😅
