Please can someone describe the gear tuning in pixel car racer
I’m new to the game and all I know I the gear numbers and final drive

Not much to explain honestly. Match the gears to the peak power of your car for best perfomance, And set final drive for either higher top speed (to the left) or faster acc (to the right)
Ok thanks I appreciate it
Every car is different for each gears, but the final get works like this: the smaller the number the tighter the gear is and faster you will go, but get it to tight and it won’t go
Since I know how they work now in real life, because I had to check it for my game I’ll try to explain.
Gear and final drive ratios multiply the engines torque which is then sent to the powered wheels.
The shorter the gear, the faster the car accelerates, but the top speed is less. Also shorter gears mean less torque.
The longer the gear, the car has a higher top speed, but acceleration is slower. Also they mean more torque.
The final drive ratio is the ratio of the driveshaft, or transmission output shaft. The selected gear ratio is multiplied by the final drive and it send the power to the wheels. The same as with the gears: lower the ratio, the faster is the acceleration and the higher the value is, the higher the top speed gets.
