Loeb suffered a hefty crash on stage 8 of the fearsome Dakar rally, but still managed to get to the finish - albeit with a few parts of his Peugeot Dakar machine missing...

Unfortunately due to this crash and another incident for Loeb on stage 9, his shot at a Dakar victory is realistically over.

Oh, and make sure you watch closely at the 44sec mark to see the 2008 DKR16 shed another part as it tackles the rally’s ridiculously tough terrain!
