Anyone who claims modern cars from Lamborghini aren’t conspicuous enough ought to take a look at Sant’Agata Bolognese’s latest couple of products.

Forming a double reveal for the ultra-posh Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, we have the Aventador SVJ 63 Roadster and the Huracan EVO GT Celebration. Both feature some particularly loud colour schemes, complemented by whacking great racing numbers.

First up, let’s take a look at the Aventador. The SVJ is hardly a subtle beast in standard form, but for this special edition, the visual ante is upped further with eight available “exclusive new design expressions” created via a collaboration between Centro Stile and the Ad Personam department.

The roof, engine cover, engine air vents, windscreen surround and wing mirrors can all be clad in either matte or gloss carbonfibre. The ‘Leirion’ forged wheels meanwhile have a matte titanium finish. The debut car featured at Pebble Beach is daubed in matte Grigio Acheso contrasted with orange details, including a set of massive ‘63’ logos.

‘63’ is a reference to Lamborghini’s founding year, and the number crops up in the interior of this Aventador too. It’s sat between the seats, which are trimmed in tri-tone Alcantara. Fancy.

Want one? Tough - all 63 units have already been flogged to “collectors” across the world, who’ll be delivered their special SVJs next year.

You could instead opt for the Huracan Evo GT Celebration. It’s tasked with honouring Lamborghini’s Huracan GT3 Evo racing car, which snagged victory at the 24 Hours of Daytona and the 12 Hours of Sebring two seasons on the bounce.

It’s been finished in an ensemble intended to echo the GRT Grasser Racing Team’s livery, combining Verde Egeria with Arancio Aten. If you’d prefer, there are two other main body colours available via Ad Personam, which can be paired with three other livery colours.

The outside is finished off nicely with number 11 logos, and centre-locking wheels. Inside, you’ll find Alcantara-trimmed bucket seats with contrast stitching that matches the livery.

Lamborghini will be making only 36 of these, all of which are for the North American market.

Given the choice, which would you have?

What is it with Lamborghini and bringing out special versions? Why can’t they do like Pagani does, just make every car bespoke, without making a fuss about it.
