A bit of an update (and why I'm not on CT)
A month ago I said goodbye to my cars and bike and hopped on a plane overseas.
While overseas I was busy chatting with a few girls and didn’t notice the ice-bucket was melting and my trusty LG ended up taking a bath. So I had to get a new phone, which doesn’t seem to like the CT app.
Because my flatmates are counts (without the o) I had to leave my cars out in the weather etc (I had a rather nasty blob of tree-sap on the roof that I’m still trying to get out), and I got the notice that we’re being evicted while I was overseas, and I had only a few days once I was back in NZ (so much for my relaxing holiday). So finally for the last 2 days living there my R34 got a space in the garage, where 2 sh1tty de-registered datsuns would usually sit untouched (which means I’d have to drive 100 miles to do an oil-change or work on my car).
I sold off the second turbo kit since I don’t see the point in spending thousands to get an unreliable few more Newton-Metres, and I went back on some factory rims that my car never had - this time with some good grippy Michelin tyres.
Lowering springs + solid suspension + factory look = a winning combination.
My wheels went onto my friend’s Stagea while they’re for sale, and he helped me move furniture to my new flat (I wish I had a photo of the sofa on his roof).
When I went onto the computer, CT had logged me out and it didn’t want to log me back in (I use fb login).
The place where I use CT most is at work, but because I was on holiday for a month there is a major backlog of work which I warned them would happen so we are extra-busy and my supervisor banned CT, phone-use, YouTube, and anything not work-related.
Because I had so much fun doing things that aren’t car-related overseas I will be doing less mods and car-things, which also means less time on CT.
And finally a familiar sight for Singaporeans.
I have a post half-written about cars overseas but it looks like it will be on the back-burner for some time.
