Question for Top Drives players

Does anyone know why some cars are slowed down by the red squares on city streets?I’ve been playing the game for a while but I still have no clue what differs cars that get affected and cars that don’t get affected.

Rwd is best for drag races and roundabouts, Fwd is best for city streets and slaloms, and awd for snow. This is the setup I usually go with

For a quarter mile i use 4wd most of the time, but for longer distances i use rwd, but for the rest i agree with. For a while i was using my DS4 off road, and then i realised that because it was fwd and on standard tires, i might as well have been using any old car😂

The red squares are speedbumps. If you tap on a card while in the “my cars” section, then you can get lots of info on each car. Scroll down and you can see the ride height. Low cars will stop for the speedbumps, but everything else will be fine. I use my medium height M5, and it maybe slows by one MPH

Oh thanks, that kinda hinders me because most of my cars are low, and the only medium-high cars i have are suv and trucks that i use for off-road stuff.

When you tap on the car in your garage it should say it’s ground clearance, some low cars need to slow down in order to clear the bump

You need a car with high ground clearance for city streets. They are speed bumps.

Thanks, i wouldve probably realised if they actually looked like speed bumps, not just a flat red square
