The upside of a GS is that it can be tuned with a much better compressor than the Z06. The hood can be exchanged to increase space and a larger size compressor can be installed. These are things you would not consider for a Porsche …
No, that’s true, you wouldn’t consider a supercharger on a bi-turbo 911… doesn’t mean you can’t modify it!
I think It’s cool how low the hood is on the zette. The supercharger on the z06 only sits an inch(2.5cm) above the rest of the engine
The Porsche had 420hp
Exactly, ‘just’ 420bhp and yet this car smokes a lot of 500hp+ sportscars. Watch MotorTrend’s big drag race, the Carrera S was ahead of many other more powerful/expensive cars.
Not to mention that 911 is amazing through corners, yet its very comfortable and in theory it has rear seats.

At least you can actually work on a Corvette yourself instead of seeing a couple of fans under the hood.
Porsche never liked people working on their own car.
Can’t go wrong with either car.
If i’m honest i would rather have GS over Z06
my thoughts as well, the car is basically the same but you get a more manageable car and at a nice price as well, it appeals to me for that reasion.
