Here's How You Perform An Oil Change On A Lamborghini Huracan
A few weeks ago we marvelled as the guys from Royalty Exotic Cars performed a tricky-looking oil change on a Veyron - a job Bugatti usually charges $21,000 for. Now, the establishment has released a new video showing how to refresh the oil in a Lamborghini Huracan Spyder.
Predictably, the process isn’t quite as painstaking. The oil filter, for example, looks fairly straightforward to remove, even if the access point is a little tight. Proceedings take a more complicated with draining the oil, however, with myriad trim pieces to remove before you can get to the drain plugs.
Yep, we did mean drain plugs plural - the Huracan’s complicated oil system has eight of them. Once the old fluid is drained out, the plugs are reinstalled and the underside of the car redressed, 7.5 litres of fresh oil is added. A far cry from the 15.6 litres the Veyron gobbles up, but hey, that car is in a rather different league.

How many litres of oil do you put in normal cars generally?
5 quarts is standard. I want to say that equality about 4 liters, but I’m too sure.
I just checked. It’s 4.73 liters.
All depends. Some examples of cars at work,
18 plate e class - 6.3l
18 plate superb - 4.6l
16 plate v class - 9l
18 plate s class - 8l
17 plate galaxy - 6.1l
Prius - 4.1l
As you can see cars take all different capacities
Here are 3 examples from my garage:
-oldest car (‘60’s-80’s - 1100cm3 - L4) : 2.5l
-daily (1990’s - 1200cm3 - L4) : 4.5l
-little red b*stard (2000’s - 2500 cm3 - L4) : 7.4l
To summarize, bigger oil capacity often means longer period between oil changes but that’s not mandatory.
