Here Are The Full Track And Car Lists For Gran Turismo Sport

Gran Turismo Sport is - at last - almost upon us. There’s an extensive demo going live early next week, followed by the full game on 17 October in North America and 18 October in Europe.

Want to know what kind of automotive shenanigans will be possible from those magic dates onwards? We’ve good news: the full track and car lists are now available.

Let’s kick off proceedings with the tracks, of which there are 40 to choose from at 17 different locations. There’s an eclectic mix of tracks including legendary facilities like Brands Hatch and the Nurburgring, fictional street circuits like Alcase Village and Tokyo Expressway, and finally the one I’m most excited about, Mount Panorama Motor Racing Circuit - aka Bathurst.

From what I’ve heard GTS plans to add to their car (and presumably track) roster over time. By the end of the games lifespan the aim is to have somewhere between 400 and 500 cars which i think we can all agree is a very healthy amount. The best part is that these expansions will be free which is virtually unheard of in a modern video game

GTA Online disagrees
All expansions since 2013 are free

so you basically agree that a 4 year development could only give us 163 cars and 17 tracks and that the people who made forza or project cars are basically 5 dimentional beings.

If they’re aiming at 400 cars at the current rate of development then we’re talking 2023, with the final expansion coming out alongside Forza 10 on the 4th-gen Xbox. Colour me skeptical.

I still wish they included some older sports cars in the game

The car list is disapointing, just seems to be mostly race cars and to top it off no single player career

10/07/2017 - 09:17 |

And even with the motorsport focus, Project CARS manages to do the same without losing all of the singleplayer content or roadcars, and with several times as many tracks. I just can’t understand where PD’s enormous budget goes.

I dont know about you guys but im just not interested in gtsport. I had the most fun driving sh!tboxes and making my own racecars to a specific pp. The new one is just a tad too serious for me. And for the car list: There’s 5 different versions of the rcz, 4 versions of the genesis. 4 versions of the nsx, 5 versions of the mustang and the list goes on. I bet gr4 compared to gr3 cars are just slightly modified versions. Something you had to do in the previous games yourself.

Agree 100%. My expectations might have been wrong or too high, but i expected more than this after all these years.

No, even Forza was a bit disappoiting. 700+ cars, and yet no production Toyota, or the variety of cars you could find in FM4. There are tons of cars which should not even be in the game, and yet are there, like the buggies and trophy trucks which should only be in the Horizon series, and not in FM. I honestly couldn’t care less about a Polaris RZR, I just want back the Toyotas, and most of the interesting cars which disappeared after FM4.
