Get An Up-Close Look At This Coachbuilt Alfa Romeo 4C Reimagination
Just in case you were worried that the incredible one-off, coach-built Alfa Romeo 4C we saw last week was merely a very very good render, here’s some video footage of the beast.
Called the ‘Mole Costruzione Artigianale 001’, it’s the work of Umberto Palermo Design and Adler Group. Its striking aesthetic looks to be incorporating various elements from cars like the Giulia and Stelvio, and the results are very pleasing indeed.
As far as we know, it’s mechanically identical to the 4C. That means the 001 is powered by a mid-mounted 1.75-litre inline-four turbo, pushing 236bhp to the rear wheel exclusively via a dual-clutch transmission. Assuming the weight isn’t significantly different to the donor car, it’ll be good for a 0-62mph time of 4.5 seconds.
The car was filmed at the Parco Valentino Salone Auto in Turin at the weekend, where it no doubt turned many heads. On the move, we’d argue looks even more visually arresting. We might just be in love…

I mean I like the first one of the 4C a lot but this also looks so goooood. Also I was just thinking. What if we took a 4C, changed the body but kept the small chassis, added a meaty V6 and gave it to lancia to rebadge as a stratos before lancia soon dies completely . We should make a go fund me page so enthusiasts can save lancia!

It weighs less than 1000kg, that’s the key to this car
The 4C weighs about 950kg.

4c, it’s one of my favorite car, I would love to have. I’m only affraid that before price for used one will drop to “kind of new mx5 money” it will be already rare and old and uniq that it will start to gain value :/
I doubt the 4C ha s classic car potential to be honest with you.
After seeing it IRL i can say that i’m in love with it!
