Driver Sustains Only Minor Injuries After Car Is Sliced In Two
If you took a look at this horrifying aftermath footage of an accident in Cloverdale, California without any context, you’d probably be convinced there was at least one fatality. But no.
In fact, the driver of the Chevrolet Impala you see sliced in two - 26-year-old Apol Lansang - only suffered minor injuries after a Toyota Sequoia driven by 27-year-old Kevin Fenty crossed onto her side of highway and hit her car head on.
The passenger side of the Chevrolet bore the brunt of the crash, tearing off and ending up half way up a grass verge. Had anyone else been in the Impala, this story might not have had such a favourable outcome.
Fenty meanwhile was thrown clear of his Toyota during the crash, suffering more moderate injuries. A local news report states that “drugs are believed to be a factor”.

That’s the difference of crashing at 35 and 55, but honestly I want those two halves of the impala, that’s the kind of modern art I want in my house.
