Cars Hitting Multiple Speed Bumps At High Speed Creates Weirdly Compulsive BeamNG Footage

Clear your schedule for at least the next hour, because once you start watching this awesome - and totally random - BeamNG Drive footage you won't want to stop

Sometimes gamers have way too much time on their hands. Sometimes it’s just time wasted, and other times it results in works of absolute genius. We give you the 100+ Consecutive Speed Bumps High Speed Testing YouTube series from DestructionNation.

Inside BeamNG Drive, the maker of these compilations (and there are quite a few) has set up a test that no car can pass. More than 100 speed bumps are placed close together in a straight line.

A wide selection of cars then drives at them at high speed, and the rest… well, you don’t need much imagination to picture the epic destruction that follows. With BeamNG’s awesome physics and damage, it’s spectacular.

We’ve counted at least 10 of these compilations, all involving speed bumps, but there are loads of others as well. None beat the speed bump tests for sheer morbid enthralment, though, as each car reacts slightly differently to the challenge. A mix of full-speed and delicious slow-motion playback make it even better.

Some cars, the lower and stiffer kind, simply ping off the first hump and then land catastrophically among bumps further down the line. One or two come agonisingly close to actually making it through, which makes the pain all the worse when they finally bite the dust. Whatever the outcome, the slow-mo bodywork destruction is the best thing you’ll see today.

The one last thing we’ll say is that the background music is horrific, so whack that mute button hard.

Oh, but I’ve been watching BeamNG speedbumps/high speed crashes for quite a while now. All I need is, well, a computer.

How small are those speed bumps? Here in Croatia they are 60cm high. Let that sink in. And more than three meters long.

A.k.a Asian road simulator. 😛

So apparently, the cars that are most suitable for Asian road conditions would be the cars based on that red 1970/1980s American sedan, the white 1980s SUV, Audi A6 and that convertible that somehow made it with a blown up engine. Maybe car makers can simulate what type of cars work best in those conditions. 🤔😛
