The S2000 question is cheesy because only the american market got the 2.2 L engine. Every other AP2 (for example in europe) kept the 2.0L engine

Not true, Japan also got the 2.2 litre engine, as well as Canada. You should have looked more closely at Grand Turismo’s selection of 18 S2000s.
Also, the AP1 redline is 8800, rev limiter is 9000, vs 8000 redline on the AP2, 8200 rev limit. Since, ya know, we’re getting technical.
