Fitted a Mountune roll restrictor to my ST today, really stiffens up the acceleration and makes the gear change a little more precise. Does cause vibration on idle but nothing ridiculous

Hi. Thought about doing this to my ST, but I was worried about the increase in NVH, that you describe as well. Do you think it is worth it?
Thanks

Hey, I’ve only done one drive in it since fitting so not much to go on. On the move it’s no different to stock in terms of NVH but you can feel the whole car feels a lot stiffer and the gear change is a bit more precise. Only on idle does it start to shake the car a bit but I didn’t think it was enough to bother me. Apparently with the A/C on its worse but not tried. I’d argue you don’t really need it if you aren’t planning on upping the power too much, I’m on MP215 now but plan to go to MP230 which is when it’s recommend to fit one to stop the axle tramp. Hope this helps 👍

They loosen up a bit after a few weeks. After it’s bedded in there’s no difference in nvh from stock.

Yeh this is true for mine. Although turning the heated front screen on makes the car vibrate like hell 😂 turn it off and it’s fine again!
